Dr. Huihui Zhang is currently a research fellow at the Centre for Atomaterials and Nanomanufacturing (CAN), RMIT University. They obtained their PhD in 2021 from Swinburne University of Technology, and their B.Eng from Wuhan University of Technology in 2017. Dr. Zhang’s dedication lies in translating cutting-edge research advances into practical and real-life applications. The primary focus of their research is on the design, preparation, and application of advanced materials for energy harvesting and storage. As an early-career researcher, they have been awarded a pretigeous ARC Industry Fellowship (IE 2024), with which they will continue and expand their work on developing flash-enabled graphene supercapacitors into functional systems, aiding the acceleration of Australia’s transition into net zero. In addition to their research, Dr. Zhang is also an active member on School of Science’s IDEA Committee, supporting RMIT University’s journey in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
