Dr Andrew Martin is developing new methods of imaging atomic structure with x-rays and electrons for use at the Australian Synchrotron, international x-ray laser facilities and RMIT’s microscopy facility.

Undergraduate courses in Introductory Physics, Quantum Physics, Scientific Programming. Post-graduate supervision.
Research interests
Developing new diffraction based techniques for X-ray free-electron lasers, Electron microscopy and Crystallography with applications to Condensed Matter Physics, Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Soft Matter and Materials Science. Classical and Quantum coherence.
