Study Melbourne events for international students

International students can join in events where you can learn new skills to progress their career, meet new people, network and enhance their experience of studying and living in Victoria.

Study Melbourne is a Victorian Government initiative dedicated to promoting Victoria to international students and providing support and information to existing students already in the state. Check out some of the events on for students below. 

EVERYDAY HEROES: Speed friending and pizza party 🍕

Starting fresh in a new city can be tough, but it’s a lot more fun with friends! Join us for a relaxed, fun-filled evening where you can meet fellow international students, have some laughs and form lasting friendships.

Chat, mingle and enjoy a fun game of bingo while sharing tasty pizza. And the best part? The event is free! 

What to expect:

  • 5:30pm: Doors open
  • 5:45pm: Welcome
  • 5:55pm: Speed friending
  • 6:45pm: Pizza
  • 7:00pm: Bingo + more networking
  • 7:30pm: Event finishes
