Experience a day dedicated to nurturing your mind, body, and spirit at the RMIT Multifaith & Wellbeing Centre!

Participate in reflective creative sessions that promote self-discovery, learn mindfulness practices, and practical strategies that support positive mental health and wellbeing.

All Wellbeing Expo events are being held at:

  • RMIT Multifaith & Wellbeing Centre, Building 47, 8 Orr St, Carlton

The Multifaith and Wellbeing Centre is a safe campus location where you can connect meaningfully with your faith and practice mindfulness and wellbeing activities. Check out the schedule running throughout the semester beyond Wellbeing Week - Chaplaincy - RMIT University

Ground level

Enjoy a complimentary care pack and coffee, tea or hot chocolate on arrival. Join in free workshops, mediation and sound healing. No pre-registration, first to sign in, so make sure you arrive early!

  • Studio 1 – Meditation 11:45pm - 12:30pm, 1pm – 1:45pm
  • Studio 2 – Sound Healing 12pm – 12.45pm, 1pm – 1.45pm

Join us for a transformative Meditation and Sound Healing session designed to bring you into a state of deep relaxation and inner peace. Immerse yourself in a soothing atmosphere as calming meditation techniques guide you to a place of stillness and clarity. As you relax, the healing vibrations of singing bowls and other sound instruments will gently wash over you, helping to release tension, clear your mind, and realign your energy. Perfect for all levels, this session is an opportunity to disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with yourself. Come by and experience the healing power of sound by Darren and Ying from Sacred Gems. 

First floor

  • Experience the ancient practice of Walking the Labyrinth and chat to the resident chaplains about all the services available at the Multifaith and Wellbeing Centre. 
  • Chat to the Wellbeing team, learn more about the mental health and wellbeing support and resources available and collect free merchandise.
  • Three Minute Angels will be offering professional, invigorating 5 minute massages to help you unwind and relax into the event. No pre-registration required.
  • Visit RMIT Yoga & Meditation club presenting meditation techniques, and International Taekwondo Federation info booth.
  • Pick up some fresh fruits and healthy snacks presented by Medibank. 

Second floor

  • The Gender Justice Crew present - Faux Campfire Hangs! Look for the glamping tent and head over for mindfulness moments and a free snack club with a difference and learn how to complete the Sex & Consent e-learning module.
  • Join RMIT Creative for a program of events and experiences focusing on social care, wellbeing, and sustainable ecologies, featuring student co-created public art experiences focusing on promoting positive wellbeing.
    • Affirmation Exchange – a participatory art experience by RMIT student artists Vanessa Kiliari and Phoebe Thompson. Affirmation Exchange invites RMIT students to practice positive self-talk. 
    • Day by Day – a mindful colouring zine written and illustrated by RMIT Student, Wipawan 'Peach' Witayathawornwong
    • Life in Progress – a playable planner app created by RMIT Student Hsiao Wei Chen (Michelle)
    • Clay Play - colourful clay sculpting experience by RMIT Student Jessica Dybing, slow down and get out of your head and into your body by sculpting, shaping or even just kneading colourful sensory therapy clay! 
  • Cant make the events? No stress, RMIT Creative has a variety of online options!

Outside (O Grady Place)

  • Dunking Your Doubts – participatory art experience using therapy technique by RMIT Student Josh Sullivan. Catch your negative thoughts and turn them into something positive. 
  • Embrace the Bright Side – nature-inspired creative meditation practice by RMIT Student Chunting Wu. Tune into the natural world around us and gently map those observations through time.
