International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)

All members of our community deserve to feel safe, included and respected.

The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is an opportunity to bring visibility and representation to LGBTIQIA+ people and create a sense of community at RMIT.

This year, a collaboration between RMIT's Equity and Inclusion team, Library and RUSU will see the relaunch of "Queer Conversations" - a video podcast conversation series where hosts talk with staff and student guests about all things queer at RMIT.

Through a casual, frank and engaging live podcast recording staff and student panellists will chat about being queer, queerness and RMIT and IDAHOBIT. The relaunch will be held as an in-person event on 17 May at the Media Portal on RMIT's City campus. The discussion will be hosted and recorded in a live-podcast style.

Additionally, the School of Art will host a queer art exhibition in Building 2 featuring artworks submitted by RMIT's staff and students. The exhibition will open on Friday 17 May.
