I am Weiyun (Coris), an PhD student in Applied Biology & Biotechnology at RMIT University. My PhD project is focused on the sensing & remediation of emerging contaminants in the wastewater & groundwater using nanomaterials.
I completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Agriculture at University of Melbourne (2019) and my Master of Environment & Sustainability, majoring in environmental security, at Monash University (2021). In terms of research, I am mainly interested in biotechnology & environmental science. I completed a one-year research project during my Masters degree focusing on the impact of biostimulants on soil & plant health. I also worked part time in the agricultural & agricultural machinery industry.
In my spare time, I really enjoy working with Lego, traveling, and food. Lego is a great stress reliever if you haven’t tried it before.
