What is the project?

This study aims to explore the attitudes, perceptions and beliefs of the employees and evaluate the building performance of the existing work environment through the assessment of indoor air quality, thermal comfort, lighting and views of nature, noise and acoustics, interior layout, active design and exercise. The results of the study will help in measuring organisational outcomes and relating those back to the physical features of buildings and employee perceptions. The main outcome of this study is improved job satisfaction, organisational commitment, staff retention rate and overall life satisfaction for RMIT employees.
