You will learn the  technical, operational and strategic skills for the next step of your career, from negotiation skills to customer analytics. You will graduate with a mix of skills and tools to take a dynamic and innovative approach to end-to-end relationship management to meet business goals and influence change in diverse contexts.

On successful completion of this program, you will be able to: 

  1. Design innovative customer value strategies that meet business goals and influence change in diverse contexts.
  2. Leverage data and evidence-based approaches to improve the effectiveness of customer value initiatives using a variety of techniques and approaches
  3. Apply customer value management knowledge and tools to track, predict and optimise customer behaviour to meet business goals and objectives
  4. Utilise customer discovery and needs analysis tools and approaches to optimise customer experiences across the lifecycle
  5. Critically reflect on customer value performance from personal, team and organisational lenses and apply improvement frameworks to drive change
  6. Communicate customer value strategy, plans and performance to a variety of stakeholders and audiences

Analyse opportunities, identify product-market fit and weigh commercial risk. 

You will learn how to develop and activate a compelling go-to-market strategy, build a product roadmap using common product tooling, deliver a business case and create stakeholder buy-in.

After graduating, you will be equipped to work as a customer success manager and apply your capability and expertise to diverse organisations and industries. This program will provide you with a foundation to further develop your end-to-end relationship management capabilities through your professional practice and/or further study.

Entry requirements and admissions

An Australian bachelor's qualification or equivalent overseas qualification in any field, or have undertaken a minimum of 5 years’ professional work experience.

To have professional experience considered, you must include in your application:

International students are required to provide current evidence of English language proficiency for admission to RMIT University (see below).

International students are required to provide current evidence of English language proficiency for admission to RMIT University (see below).

To study this course you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests:

  • IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
  • TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)): minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE): minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component.

Pathways

Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Customer Success Management you will be eligible to continue your studies in the RMIT Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) with 48 credit points (4 courses) worth of credit.
