You can find all the information you need on enrolling as an international student on the RMIT University website.

You will receive information about paying your tuition fees when you receive you accept your RMIT Offer. If your offer is for more than 25 weeks, you will receive an invoice for your second instalment from Student Services when this is due.
You need to accept and pay for your offer on Studylink. Student Services will send you instructions on how to do this.
If you have already paid your fees, contact Student Services with evidence of your payment and they can help you.
RMIT will only ever send requests for payment to your RMIT student email address. If you receive a request for tuition fee payment to your personal email or a family member’s address, please contact Student Services. This may be a scam. Read more information about scams on Scamwatch.
You must attend at least 80% of your scheduled classes to fulfil your student visa requirements. If you are experiencing difficulties attending your classes speak with your teacher or our dedicated student support team for advice and guidance.

If you are sick you should go to a doctor to make sure you get better. If your doctor advises you to stay home, they will give you a medical certificate, or you should ask for one. Your medical certificate cannot be back dated, so you must go to the doctor when you are sick, not when you are better. Bring your medical certificate to the Student Success Hub with your student ID card.
Your medical certificate does not change your attendance percentage it only explains your absence.

If you are 18 years old or younger you can travel on a concession fare myki with a Child myki. You will need to carry identification with you when you are travelling to prove that you are 18 years old or younger. We do not recommend that you carry your passport with you every time you use public transport. You can get a proof of age identification card such as a Keypass ID.

Academic English students can apply for a Leave of Absence from their studies. Please speak to your teacher and student services before you make a decision about taking a leave of absence.
The Academic English classes are held Monday to Friday in two ‘shifts’. You cannot choose which shift you will study in as this is dependant on your level and class. The shift you study in may change each module.
