STAFF PROFILE
Dr Qiang Fu
Dr. Qiang Fu is passionate about applied research in collaboration with industry in the areas of Cloud, Networked Systems and Security.
Dr. Qiang Fu received his PhD from The University of Queensland.
He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Cloud, Systems and Security. His research interests are broadly in the areas of Internet and Cloud based systems including wireless and mobile systems. He is particularly interested to work on the intersection between the Internet, Cloud and Security.
More recently, Qiang’s research has been focused on Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), data centre design and analysis, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)/IoT applications, virtualisation as well as network programmability including Network Function Virtualisation (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). He works closely with industry – most of his projects are funded or sponsored by industry partners.
