Allison Jing
Dr Allison Jing is a Lecturer and Researcher focusing on representing bio-data (gaze, facial, physiological) as input and output, designing interfaces, and incorporating multimodal interaction techniques to support empathic Mixed Reality (MR) collaboration and Human-AI interaction.
Dr Jing completed her PhD research at the Empathic Computing Lab led by Prof Mark Billinghurst and Dr Gun Lee at the University of South Australia and has subsequently published at IEEE VR, ISMAR, CSCW, CHI, FrontiersVR, SigGraph, and SigGraph Asia. She also has a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of St Andrews (UK) on collaborative Immersive Analytics under Prof Aaron Quigley and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
