Research supervision
James is a lecturer in law at the RMIT University Graduate School of Business and Law.
James researches in jurisprudence and teaches into legal theory and private law subjects.
Building on his doctoral thesis, James is spearheading a reimagination of Critical Legal Studies (CLS). James has given invited talks on CLS at UC Berkeley, Cardozo Law School, and at conferences around Australia.
Currently, James is applying modes of social and legal theory to developments in technology and law.
James is a vice president of the Australasian Law, Literature and Humanities Association.
