Xueting’s research interests lie heavily on using economics experiments to study how individual make decisions. The practice of experimental economics allows her to investigate the real mechanism behind people’s irrational behaviours and thus allows her to provide practical and sighted policy intervention suggestions. Xueting’s research goal is to use the research findings to form the basis of sound policy advice to government, community organisation and families that will help them to effect real change.
