Dr Caroline Norma lectures in the Master of Translating and Interpreting degree in RMIT's School of Global, Urban and Social Studies.

キャロライン・ノーマは2011年にメルボルン大学で博士課程を修了し、それ以来、ロイヤルメルボルン工科大学で通訳翻訳学科の上級講師として勤務しています。オーストラリアの元植民地であるパプアニューギニアにおける日本軍慰安婦の戦時歴史を研究しています。初めての著書である『日本の従軍慰安婦と日中・太平洋戦争』(2015年)では、日本人女性が「慰安婦」として経験した戦時被害に焦点を当てています。この本は韓国語にも翻訳され、2020年に刊行されました。2冊目の著書である『占領期後の慰安婦と日本の企業売春』(2018年)では、高度成長期における日本企業の慰安旅行、性風俗接待、妓生観光の歴史を調査しました。2022年には、森田成也さんと千田ゆきさんと共同で、イギリスの著者による『美とミソジニー』を英日の翻訳に貢献し、慶應義塾大学出版から出版されました。
