Dr Ninh Nguyen is Senior Lecturer and HDR Coordinator (Business & Law) at RMIT University. He also holds honorary roles as Adjunct Associate Professor at Charles Darwin University and Senior Research Fellow at Thuongmai University.
Ninh's research focuses on promoting social and environmental sustainability as well as understanding factors affecting (digital) technology adoption in both consumer and organisational contexts. Recent work investigates consumer pro-environmental behaviours, corporate social responsibility, green hotel practices, and the adoption of financial technology and digitalisation strategy. He has published over 35 articles in A/A* journals (ABDC). He is also the lead editor of Springer's "Environmental Sustainability in Emerging Markets: Consumers, Organisation and Policy Perspectives" book. His work has been supported by several funding bodies, universities and organisations in Australia and Vietnam.
Ninh currently serves as Senior Associate Editor for the Journal of Consumer Behaviour (ABDC-A), where he won the 2023 Associate Editor of the Year Award. He is also Associate Editor for the Journal of Strategic Marketing (ABDC-A) and Deputy EiC for the Journal of Trade Science (Emerald).
Ninh has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of marketing, business research and sustainable business at several universities in Australia and Vietnam. At RMIT University, he coordinates and teaches Sustainable Business Models and Business Research Design. He also serves as academic supervisor for EMBA/MBA students in the MBA Research Project course. He is the recipient of CoBL's 2024 Learning & Teaching Impact Award (Highly Commended).
