The 100% online degree delivers a convenient online program without the requirement for on-campus attendance and commitments. All lecture material and content is delivered directly to you, wherever you are.
Examine the foundational principles that underpin project management practice. You will develop your knowledge of project management techniques and how to scope, plan and manage a project. You will also analyse the legal framework that governs the practice of project management.
In addition, your exposure to introductory leadership concepts and principles will develop your ability to identify and manage project team dynamics.
The prime objective of this course is to build on and develop your understanding of best practice principles and practices of project management, then develop your capacity to apply these in any commercial, industrial or professional context.
You can choose the generalist project management stream to develop a deep and broad skill set that is applicable across a wide range of industries. Alternatively, you can select the IT-specific stream to expand your project management career with specialist skills for the IT industry.
RMIT's online Graduate Diploma does not meet Australian student visa requirements. For an Australian student visa, you must have an on-campus place in a program of study.

With an online Graduate Diploma in Project Management, you’ll gain exactly the same qualification as you would studying on-campus. The only difference is that the program has been designed specifically for online learning. When you complete your studies you have the option to move on to the on-campus Master of Project Management.

The 100% online, accelerated program means your learning – and graduation – is fast-tracked and focused. You can enrol in any one of our six, seven-week teaching periods each year.
You can view online resources and learning activities, access course materials via Canvas, collaborate with lecturers and fellow students, and access your student email account anywhere, anytime.
Our online learning platform is purpose-built and brings authenticity to your learning experience, available using your laptop, tablet or smartphone. Coursework is delivered in an engaging way and easy to follow.
You will also have access to discussion boards, online forums, electronic assignment submission, the library and business journals.
Assessment is ongoing throughout the teaching period and includes essays, reports, presentations, case studies, quizzes and research projects.

Successfully completed an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent overseas qualification), or
