This program of work comprised three separate sub-projects investigating various aspects of work health and safety in the Sydney Metro program of construction work.
The first project looked at how clients impact and influence work health and safety in construction industry supply chains
The second project undertook a comprehensive literature review into the factors that influence the quality of risk controls selected and implemented for occupational health risks relevant to civil engineering construction work, such as diesel exhaust emissions, noise and respirable silica dust.
The third sub-project examined the effectiveness of client-initiated work health and safety training in a contracting/subcontracting environment.
