For women in their third or fourth year of study in construction or project management; worth $5,000

This scholarship provides $5,000 for one year.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or a permanent humanitarian visa holder
  • identify as a woman
  • be enrolling full-time in your third or fourth year in 2025 in one of the following programs:
    •  Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (BH114)
    • Bachelor of Project Management (Honours) (BH112) or
    • be enrolling in any year of the Master of Project Management (MC210)
  • have a Grade Point Average (GPA) to date of 2.0 or higher
  • be willing to participate in a fixed-term Cadet position at Built
  • be willing to apply for the Built 2-year Graduate Program, if invited
  • be available for interview, if shortlisted.

Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate circumstance(s) which impact their ability to study such as:

  • receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Card Card 
  • living with a disability, long-term medical condition or identify as neurodivergent
  • experiencing personal/family/social difficulties
  • being from an interstate or rural/regional area and moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT
  • are from an under-represented cohort such as:
    • identify as a woman in a male-dominated field
    • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 
    • were born overseas, are from a non-English background and recently migrated to Australia
    • current or former refugee 
    • completed secondary school at a School Network Access Program school

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.

Only successful candidates will be notified via email to their RMIT student account.
