We actively collaborate with public sector construction clients, government agencies, construction contracting organisations, design firms, regulators and professional bodies.
CWHSR @ RMIT is part of an international network of researchers based at universities in the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. Through collaboration with international research partners, knowledge is disseminated internationally and best practice transferred between continents and countries.
Our researchers collaborate with researchers from the Center for Occupational Safety and Health (USA) and the European Construction Institute (UK). Our researchers also participate actively in the International Council for Research and Innovation in the Building and Construction (CIB) W099 Working Commission on Safety and Health in Construction.
The Regional Rail Link and Major Transport Infrastructure Program’s adoption of RMIT’s formative work reflects a true Research-to-Practice environment and has helped the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority to achieve its safety vision ‘To provide a safe workplace, prevent harm, care for everyone affected by our projects, and deliver transport infrastructure projects that achieve world class construction safety performance’. - Corey Hannett (Director General of Victoria’s Major Transport Infrastructure Authority)
