About

Dr. Vineet Tawani is an experienced academic with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in tertiary teaching. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Tawani has been actively involved in teaching and other related activities at some of Australia's most esteemed universities, including the University of Melbourne, Monash University, RMIT University, and Deakin University, starting in 2004. During this time, he has made significant contributions to the academic community, coordinating, designing, and delivering a wide range of courses across disciplines such as Finance, Accounting, Statistics, and Economics.

 

Dr. Tawani holds a PhD in Finance, showcasing his research capabilities in the field. Additionally, he is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, reflecting his professional standing and commitment to the highest standards of the accounting profession.

 

Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Tawani began his career as an IT professional, where he gained valuable experience in the technology sector. However, his passion for finance and accounting led him to specialise in these fields, eventually becoming an expert in both academic and practical aspects of the discipline. His unique background blends both technical and financial knowledge, providing students with a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to learning.

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Tawani has been dedicated to fostering an engaging and rigorous academic environment, helping shape the careers of many students who have gone on to make their mark in various sectors of the finance, accounting and management industries.
