Mapping Future Imaginaries Network (MFI)

The Mapping Future Imaginaries (MFI) Network connects RMIT scholars, creatives and industry who are doing future-focused work to address key social, economic, environmental and political concerns.

The MFI Network is transdisciplinary, facilitating diverse teams to develop mapping approaches to speculative and future-focused research.

The network:

  • connects academics across RMIT Schools and Colleges who use mapping in the design of new research methodologies.
  • connects RMIT people with a global MFI network to generate international projects.
  • leads mapping research innovation relevant to the needs of public sector groups, industry, and stakeholder groups.
