Sport Futures Impact Network (SFIN) is an interdisciplinary research network that aims to undertake impactful research to (re)imagine the future of the sport industry and its impact on society.
SFIN aims to undertake impactful research at the intersection of sport business, technology, and society.
The following themes reflect areas of expertise across the network.
Management and marketing of sport from fan development, sport product development, sport governance and identifying the unique aspects of the sport industry.
Impact of sport on society including legacy of sport events, sport participation, spot for development and sport CSR
Development and adoption of sport technology and innovations
New sport categories such as competitive gaming and covering all aspects from game development, athlete management, fan development and marketing

SFIN provides a network for researchers and HDR students undertaking research in the sport context to share ideas, develop collaborations, engage with industry partners and events, and share research methods and knowledge translation activities for both academic and sport industry audiences.
