Dr Belinda Clarence
Dr Belinda Clarence is an Australian lawyer who has been teaching law in post-graduate and under-graduate programs since 2013 in Australia, Singapore and Jakarta at RMIT and Monash Universities.
She holds a Law Masters in Intellectual Property Law and a PhD in the use of equity to extraterritorially control multinational corporations. She has extensive business experience from working as a professional design engineer in technology firms in Australia and South Africa.
Her current research interests are in extraterritorial jurisdiction and how to regulate technology that is spatially unbound, as well as modern concepts of state and sovereignty.
