About

Daisy (Hsin-I) Chou is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing.

Daisy previously held positions at the University of Otago, the University of Bath, and La Trobe University. She was awarded a Ph.D. from Queen's University of Belfast in the United Kingdom. She specialises in corporate governance and corporate finance.

Daisy's intellectual curiosity is piqued by the areas of board of director behaviour, executive compensation, Asian economies and M&A activities in the U.S. market. Her findings have been shared in numerous leading academic journals, including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance and among others.
