Dr Huang is senior lecturer at School of Management. His research focuses on international business, including Chinese foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Belt and Road countries, political risk management, corporate social responsibilities and sustainable development . He has published extensively in leading international journals, including Industrial Marketing Management, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Management International Review, Journal of Small Business Management, and R&D Management.
Dr Huang has received his PhD from Monash University, and his Masters of Engineering from Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST). He has spent three years as Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Small and Medium Enterprise Research Centre at Edith Cowan University.
Dr Huang’s teaching interest includes strategic management and international business. He has successfully supervised over 20 PhD candidates to their completion. Dr Huang was Deputy Director of Australia-China Iron and Steel Industry Training Centre between 1990 and 1995, Chinese Director of RMIT – WUST Program, and Head of School of Business Studies at WUST in 1996.
