About

Dr. Charles Lau is Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Supply Chain and Logistics in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University in Australia. He has more than 30 years of working experiences in the private sector, the government, and the academia. His research focuses on sustainable development, supply chain rationalisation, green and reverse logistics, and index development, among others. His works are published in many top-tier academic journals, including Environment and Planning B, Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Logistics Management, and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal. Currently, Charles is leading the RMIT Sustainable Procurement Disclosure Index project and participating in the RACE for 2030 project on Energy Upgrades for Australian Homes.
