Ariel Lui a lecturer in Enterprise AI and Analytics in Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics.
Ariel's research interests are interdisciplinary in nature, examining whether, why, and how IT innovations impact firm value (e.g., operational performance and stock price), environment (e.g., carbon footprint) and society (e.g., government policy). Some of her research papers are published in prestigious academic journals including Information & Management (ABDC A*), International Journal of Production Economics (ABDC A), and Annals of Operations Research (ABDC A). Her coming research focuses focus on disruptive IT such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technologies which are having an emerging role in business and sustainability.
