PhD Scholarship in Studying Responsible AI using Simulations

The position is funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence on Automated Decision Making + Society for 3 years, and includes AUS$34,841 stipend, fee waivers and health insurance per annum, with a possibility to extend for another 6 months.

The project and successful candidate will be working at the intersection of user modelling, multi-agent systems, simulations and modelling, reinforcement and deep learning, evaluation and responsible AI.  We understand it is unlikely someone will have a background in all these areas, but we just want to highlight the potential and more interested if you have some background in these areas and interest to learn and work with others in the team in the other areas.

This scholarship will be governed by RMIT University's Research Scholarship Terms and Conditions.
