PhD scholarship in QPM project

A project in cobalt leaching electrochemistry from natural ores in collaboration with industry partner.

This scholarship offers a talented student the opportunity to undertake a Ph.D. program with a focus on both academic and industrial aspects of cobalt leaching electrochemistry. The program is funded by an industry partner, providing an excellent opportunity for the student to gain practical experience and insights into the field while pursuing their academic goals.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Hold an Australian bachelor’s degree with first-class Honours or an equivalent international degree in chemistry, physics, engineering, or related discipline
  • Preferably have research experience involving material synthesis/lab experiment in chemistry techniques
  • Possess a strong desire to study chemical problems in the hydrometallurgical method, and passion for experiments, characterisation and analysis.
