About

John Dingeldei is Industry Fellow (Advertising) in the School of Media and Communication. He has experience on both the client and the agency sides of the advertising and marketing industry and a commitment to the education and development of professional communication practitioners.   John first joined the RMIT teaching team in 2011 as a sessional lecturer and tutor while leading his advertising agency, Orangehammer Advertising and Marketing. He has several Dean's Awards for his work as an exemplary sessional and for contributions to Pitch Night, Hungry Talks and Wicked Problems Studio.   With qualifications in marketing and accreditation as a Certified Practising Marketer, John has been an active member of the advertising and marketing profession for 30 years and served the Australian Marketing Institute as a National Board Member and Victorian President. Skilled in strategy, media, creative and account management together with the experience of over 1000 clients, he has practical insights for almost every category.   Awards   2022: Dean's Award for Integrates Scholarship/Praxis CoBL Collaboration in Learning and Teaching Award   2021: Dean's Award for an Exemplary Sessional Staff Member   2020: Adrian Miles Award for Innovation
