Dr Costa is a marine scientist that focus on marine quantitative ecology and coastal conservation, making significant contributions to the research fields of spatial modelling, decision science and coastal wetlands. Her research aims to understand how blue carbon varies at different spatial scales, and how different management actions can change the ecosystem services provided by coastal wetlands.
