About

Dr. Xiaoning Li is a Vice-Chancellor's Research Fellow and ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) Fellow at RMIT University. She has authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers and holds four granted patents, with her work cited more than 2000 times, resulting in an H-index of 25. Dr. Li is the first author on over 20 papers in high-impact journals, including Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Advanced Functional Materials, and ACS Nano. Additionally, she has published seven papers as a corresponding author in top journals such as Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Science, and ACS Energy Letters. With research experience at renowned institutions such as the University of Science and Technology of China, the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory, the University of Wollongong, and Nanyang Technological University, Dr. Li’s work primarily focuses on advancing functional materials for energy conversion to address critical global challenges in energy sustainability. Her expertise spans spin-related energy conversion reaction mechanisms, materials characterization (including synchrotron techniques), and materials calculation (DFT).
