His research interests are applied microeconomics, block chain economy and crypto economics, environmental economics and energy economics.
Since joining RMIT from the University of Queensland, Peyman has enthusiastically pursued his interests in areas such as blockchain and industry engagement, where RMIT excels.
Peyman has several papers published in top ranked A* and A-ranked journals such as Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, International Journal of Industrial Organization and Economics Letters.
Since joining RMIT Peyman coordinated and taught several courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has developed innovative teaching methods to improve the learning experience of the students. As a result, he received outstanding GTS score.
