David Kelly is a human geographer whose research focuses on housing, urban governance, and displacement. His work explores the intersection of public policy, planning, and everyday urban life, with particular attention to housing insecurity, homelessness, and the role of the not-for-profit sector. He is interested in the politics of land and property, how cities are managed and contested, and how state and non-state actors reshape urban environments. David’s broader research interests include racialized urban space, settler-colonial urbanism, and the socio-spatial dynamics of urban redevelopment.
