Dr Hardik Bhimani is a behavioural scientist. He is curious about the human side of management practice, and brings a unique blend of expertise in psychology, management, and data science. His research activities target the future of work and innovative behaviour, enabling leaders to make better decisions and achieve sustainability impact through behavioural insights.
Dr Bhimani holds the prestigious Vice-Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship at RMIT, and is the current President of RMIT's Technology and Entrepreneurship Club. He was the founding leader of RMIT's Gamified Translation Network and the Behavioural Innovation Research and Design Society.
Dr Bhimani's work is recognised through the honour of Best PhD project award by RADMA, Best Paper award at World Open Innovation Conference, and the ECR Research Excellence Award at RMIT. He is involved in several cross-border research projects, has received over A$115,000 in funding to support research activities, and has delivered invited presentations on Behavioural Innovation Research and Methods to a global audience of leaders and academics at leading conferences and international universities.
Dr Bhimani earned an award winning PhD in Management at RMIT University (Australia), and holds a First Class Honours (eq.) degree in Psychology from University of Adelaide (Australia), as well as an APAC 3-year degree in Psychology from Monash University (Australia).
Dr Bhimani's teaching philosophy is based on play pedagogy aimed at crafting memorable learning moments. This is reflected in frequent positive student feedback, high teaching evaluations and good teaching awards.
