About

Jackson Bi is a full-time staff member in the Interior Design discipline and a researcher at RMIT Architecture | Tectonic Formation Lab. Jackson is an architectural and interior designer. He completed his Bachelor of Interior Design (Hon) from RMIT and Politecnico di Milano; Master of Architecture from Bartlett, UCL. Formally an architect at Zaha Hadid Architect, Computational Design Research Group (CODE) and interior designer at Bates Smart Architects, Jackson has led and participated in a number of award-winning projects and frontier studies across a variety of design fields.

Teaching interests

Jackson is the coordinator of Technology, Bachelor of Interior Design (Hon). He teaches in the Technology courses and leads Design Studios that focus on robotic fabrication and computational design,

Research interests

Jackson's research focuses on computational design, advanced robotic fabrication, innovative material and geometry through the conjunction of architecture, interior and product design.
