Research interests

Adrian's current projects involve the development of practical high-speed flight systems and associated enabling technologies.

His primary areas of research interest include:
• Supersonic and hypersonic aerothermodynamics
• Rotating Detonation Engines (RDEs)
• Scramjet propulsion
• Rocket propulsion and access to space systems
• Viscous drag reduction/Jet interactions
• Computational fluid dynamics

He is interested in supervising Masters and PhD students in any area of research listed above.
