Elena Pirogova is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering. She works in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Engineering, RMIT University. Experienced undergraduate and Higher Degrees by Research (HDR) Program Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Elena does research in Bioengineering, Biomedical devices, Biomaterials and Bioelectromagnetics. Elena graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering, Monash University, 2002. She completed BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering (major in Electrochemistry, Physical and Colloidal Chemistry) at the Department of Chemical Cybernetics, Faculty of Chemical Tecnologies, National Technical University of Ukraine (former Kiev Polytechnic Institute), 1991.
