- 2013-2014 Terry oversaw all the submissions from the School of Medical Sciences to ensure that all programs and courses delivered by the School met AQF compliance.
- 2013 Chaired the Midwifery Postgraduate Program Review Panel for School of Health Sciences at RMIT.
- 2006 Terry led the team that created the Bachelor of Applied Science (Biomedical Science) program, in 2010 it was renamed Bachelor of Biomedical Science.
- 2005 Invited member of the External Review Panel of graduate coursework programs offered by the Faculty of Sciences at UNE.
- In 2003 and 2004 Terry was involved in the restructuring of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences) program.
- In 2003 Terry led the team that developed the Bachelor of Applied Science (Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences) (Honours) program which was renamed in 2006 to the Bachelor of Applied Science (Biomedical Science) (Honours) program.

Teaching interests

Teaching responsibilities:
Terry is the Course Coordinator for BIOL2565 Cellular Pathways, BIOL2301 Applied Biochemical Methods and BIOL2299 Biology of Tissue Growth and Repair.

Terry delivers lectures, runs tutorial and prac classes to students from many programs (Biomedical Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Laboratory Medicine, Pharmacy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Chinese Medicine, Applied Science) on various topics in the areas of Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Cancer, Immunology and Cell Signalling.

- The effects of UV radiation on skin cells and the role it plays in the development of skin cancer
- The effects of growth factor on activating signalling pathways in melanoma cells
- Effect of cannabis extracts as anticancer agents
- Effect of plant nutraceuticals on eye health
- Observing the effect radiation has on cellular function
- Monitoring the effects nanoparticle sunscreens have on human skin cell function
- The effect of nutrients on lymphocyte activation
- Amino acid uptake and metabolism in tumour cells
