About

I lead multi-stakeholder research that creates sustainable solutions for people and nature.

As a Senior Research Fellow and Science Communicator, my expertise lies in driving nature-based solutions research (eg. coastal wetland restoration) that engages industry stakeholder and empowers local communities.

One of my most notable achievements is leading the award-winning Blue Carbon Citizen Science program, which has successfully engaged over 600 citizen scientists in coastal wetland research across Australia and New Zealand. This initiative advanced scientific knowledge, while empowering people to take an active role in environmental stewardship.

I bring a unique combination of scientific expertise, project management skills, and a passion for science communication to every project I undertake.

I manage national and international blue carbon initiatives that encompass a broad spectrum of activities, including industry and community engagement, on-ground research, social science, and desktop research. My work often involves coordinating multi-stakeholder research partnerships, ensuring that our research has a global impact and tackles environmental challenges.
