Associate Professor Jose Almeida Da Silva
Associate Professor Jose Silva has more than 20 years of experience as a university lecturer. He has maintained regular collaborations with industry and other research organisations in research projects and consultancy activities pertaining to aviation safety and aerospace materials. His key areas of interest include Aviation Safety, Safety Management Systems, Accident Investigation, Aircraft Structural Integrity and Aerospace Materials.
He holds a Remote Pilot Licence issued by CASA (Australia) and he is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a Senior Member of AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics).
