About

Dr. Muhammad Dan-Asabe Abdulrahman is Associate Professor of Supply Chain and Logistics Management in the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University in Australia. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), UK, and has more than 25 years of working experiences in industry and the academia. He is involved in interdisciplinary research in areas of supply chain sustainability, green supply chain, and index development, reverse logistics and remanufacturing. His works are published in top-tier academic journals, including International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Logistics Management, and International Journal of Production and Operations Management, Production Planning & Control and he is on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Production and Operations Management (IJPOM). Muhammad has extensive industry funded projects experience that includes Low Carbon Manufacturing design for Chinese Export; Policy design on pharmaceutical supply between China and Nigeria; Next generation Cold Supply Chains between Denmark and China, amongst others. He is currently leading the RMIT RACE for 2030 project on Energy Upgrades for Australian Homes and participating in RMIT Sustainable Procurement Disclosure Index project.
